Exploding Nebula
ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Haiku
Exploding nebula, crimson flame scatters through night, stars ignite the void.
"Exploding Nebula," comprised of a pallet of different pigments mixed in resin with the background of spray paints, gold details. The artwork draws inspiration from cosmic phenomena, specifically a nebula—a vast cloud of gas and dust in space often associated with the birth or death of a star. The term "exploding" suggests an energetic, dramatic event, possibly representing the aftermath of a star's supernova or a cosmic explosion, resulting in the formation of a nebula.
The artwork symbolizes the beauty and chaos of creation and destruction in the universe. Nebulae are known for their vibrant, colorful appearances, which often result from the interaction of light with the gases and dust within them. This artwork, if following that theme, might feature dynamic, swirling colors and patterns, reflecting the complexity and wonder of the cosmos.

Silver Reflection
ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Haiku
Reflective waters, a mirror holds shifting skies, time dissolves to light
Silver Reflextion, I live in a small coastal village just north of Lisbon, Portugal. I have always found solace in painting and on this particular day after a brilliant sunny morning the fog crept in like a thief stealing the sun.. I found solace and a escape from the chaotic beach goers. I sat down with my easel and started painting. With the white canvas reflexing back at me I started slowly layering shades of white, grays, blues and blacks. My brush moved unconsciously, creating waves, sky and bands that seemed to represent the ebb and flow of my throughts and emotions..
This painting features an abstract landscape with a horizontal composition. The palette is monochromatic, using shades of white, grays, blues and blacks with a band of silver gilding and the black lower strip that gives this painting contrast and drama of the moody sky.
All my painting is finished with a high quality varnish.

ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Haiku
Through the pinkened haze, dawn unfolds with tender flame, silence births the sky.
Sunrise on the Pink Planet envisions the birth of light in an unfamiliar world — a horizon awash in rose, gold, and violet tones. The sun rises from a haze of color, its radiant tendrils reaching outward like liquid fire, igniting the surface below. The textured forms suggest a landscape both celestial and organic, a meeting of atmosphere and imagination. Through fluid motion and iridescent warmth, the work invites the viewer to witness the fragile beauty of a new dawn on a distant, dreamlike realm.

Crystal Topography
ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Haiku
Blue depths unfolding,
crystal veins in gold embrace,
earth’s heart made of light.
Crystal Topography mimics the natural beauty of nature at its finest with the look of the oceans map or a natural geode agate slice. Featuring 3 layers of resin in swirling patterns with vibrant blues and accented with natural crystals, along with crushed glass and gold accents. The resin gives this artwork a glossy finish enhancing the 3 dimensional effect and making it visually striking. This style is often used to create abstract representations of geological formations, combining formations, combining creativity with elements that are inspired by nature.

Tidal Veins
ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Haiku
1
Currents intertwine,
golden veins beneath the waves,
the sea learns to breathe.
2
Two tides become one,
whispers move through glassy light,
silence drifts to shore.
3
Ocean’s pulse revealed,
light dissolves into the deep,
time returns as foam
Tidal Veins flows with the rhythm of the sea — two canvases joined in motion, echoing the ebb and pulse of water meeting light. Layers of turquoise, jade, and gold trace pathways like living currents, revealing both turbulence and tranquility. The subtle golden lines drift across the surface like the veins of the earth, connecting the two halves in a quiet dialogue. The piece speaks of connection, balance, and the eternal movement that binds all forms of life.

Silent Tear
ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Haiku
Beneath shadow’s weight, a single glimmer endures, grief becomes its glow.
Silent tear, confronts the stillness of pain with quiet dignity. A deeply textured black surface forms the stage for a solitary face, emerging from darkness as if carved from silence itself. The single golden tear that slips from its eye transforms grief into illumination — a fragile symbol of beauty within endurance. Through restraint and contrast, Sarrow reflects the intimate weight of emotion and the resilience that follows its release.

Haiku
Drifting through black seas
the earth dreams in molten hues,
silence turns to bloom
Emerald Drift captures the shifting boundary between land and void, color and silence. Vivid layers of green, gold, and turquoise emerge from darkness like a continent awakening under light. The textured surface suggests growth and erosion, echoing nature’s eternal cycle of creation and decay. Within the vast black field, color becomes both map and memory. A meditation on movement, transformation, and the fragility of what endures.

Sand
ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Haiku
Shifting sands of light,
Whispers carved in stone and sand
Time flows without sound.
Sand is a textured abstract painting that captures the quiet strength and subtle movement of natural landscapes. With a palette of soft neutrals—creamy beige, muted ivory, and gentle grays—the piece evokes the feeling of windswept dunes or eroded stone. The flowing central form appears almost like a riverbed carved over time, framed by rougher, high-relief textures that suggest earth or sediment. Smooth, marbled areas contrast with coarse, tactile edges, creating a sense of both motion and stillness. “Sand” invites reflection on impermanence, erosion, and the quiet passage of time—an homage to the delicate balance between nature’s softness and resilience.

Convergence of Fire and Sea
ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Haiku
Where currents collide,
fire learns the shape of the sea
something new begins.
This work captures a moment of collision—where opposing forces meet, fracture, and transform one another. Saturated currents of cobalt, violet, and molten gold surge across the surface, converging in a volatile center that feels both explosive and intentional. The composition evokes elemental movement: fire cutting through water, land breaking beneath pressure, energy folding in on itself.
Textural ridges and cellular patterns suggest geological time compressed into an instant, as if the canvas records an event rather than an image. Despite its intensity, the piece holds balance each force yielding just enough to allow coexistence. Convergence of Fire and Sea speaks to transformation born of tension, and to the beauty that emerges when boundaries dissolve.

ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Haiku
Obsidian night,
a crimson spark tears the void,
the horizon bleeds
The canvas invokes a storm frozen mid-motion, a collision of chaos and silence. The black texture surges across the surface in jagged, wave-like ridges, evoking both destruction and resilience. The raised forms catch light in unexpected ways, giving this painting an almost sculptural depth, as if something beneath the darkness is fighting to emerge. In the corner, a sudden streak of crimson burns against the void—a comet, a wound, a heartbeat—its sharp contrast igniting the stillness with urgency and fire.
The piece speaks of conflict and survival, of quiet intensity carried within shadows.

Lava Flow
ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Haiku
Molten veins of earth,
black river hardens to stone,
Beneath the blood moon
The canvas is dominated by deep black, with heavy textures rippling across the surface like hardened lava flows. The layered strokes create a sense of movement frozen in time, as if molten rock cooled mid-motion. A darker vertical form rises upward, branching into a shadowed silhouette — it could be read as a tree, a geyser’s plume, or even smoke, depending on the viewer’s gaze.
At the top left, a single red circle glows against the darkness. It feels like a blood moon, a burning ember, or perhaps even a distant planet — a stark, deliberate counterpoint to the dense, tactile black beneath.
The tension here is powerful: the materiality of earth contrasted with the abstraction of sky, the solitary red mark cutting through silence. It evokes Iceland’s volcanic landscape, its raw, primordial energy, and the sense of standing on the edge of creation.
